Jerry Prchal, O.D.
Dr. Jerry Prchal attended the University of Nebraska and later earned his bachelors and Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1979. He continues the practice established in 1948 by his father-in-law, Dr. Earl Taylor, in Blakely, Georgia, in addition to Albany Eye Care. Dr. Prchal has held professional leadership positions including Georgia Optometric Association district president, trustee, and state president. Currently, he is on the GOA legislative committee and a representative to the Medicare carrier advisory committee. He is board president of Flint River Habitat for Humanity and serves on the building committee. His practice concentration is on medical eye care and particularly glaucoma therapy. A member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church, Dr. Prchal enjoys gardening, fishing, and travel.

Sue Prchal, O.D.
Dr. Sue Prchal attended Emory at Oxford and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from the University of Georgia. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association. She is also a former member of the Albany Symphony Guild and the Charity League of Albany.

Kaye C. Bryan, O.D.
A native of Damascus, Georgia, Dr. Kaye Collier Bryan attended Valdosta State University. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. She is active in the American Optometric Association and a past district president of the Georgia Optometric Association. Dr. Bryan resides in Leesburg, Georgia with her husband Tommy and attends the First United Baptist Church of Leesburg. She enjoys fishing and playing golf.

Anita - Lab Coordinator
Anita has been with Albany Eye Care since 1988. Certified in laboratory operations from the Essilor Laboratory University Anita is involved in all facets of lens fabrication. This includes fabricating a lens from a raw blank, edging lenses and verification of the completed glasses. Anita is our resource for the myriad of lens options. Anita’s interests include reading and fishing.

Claire - Licensed Dispensing Optician
Claire began her career in the optical industry 25 years ago. She has been a part of the Albany Eye Care team for 20 years. As a Licensed Dispensing Optician her responsibilities include the maintenance of the 1000 + frame dispensary as well as assisting patients with frame selection and eye wear dispensing. Away from work, she enjoys gardening and doing volunteer work with the local pet rescue group.

Karen - Optician
Karen has been with Albany Eye care for 17 years. Karen is eager to help with Frame selection and dispensing eye wear as well as frame repair. She maintains our extensive lines of sun wear. Karen’s interests include reading, water activities, and spending time with her family.

Kelli – Insurance Specialist
Kelli has 18 years optical experience and has been with Albany Eye Care since 1997. Kelli is cross trained within the office and currently handles our Insurance claims, eligibility, and is eager to answer any billing questions. She enjoys spending time with her family and attends First Baptist Church of Leesburg.

Kayla - Doctor’s Assistant
Kayla has been part of the Albany Eye Care family for 7 ½ years. Her duties include obtaining patient medical history, special testing, and assisting the doctors. She is certified to perform the latest in Glaucoma diagnostic testing, such as pachymetry and Ocular Coherence Tomography. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with family.

Debbie - Frame Stylist
Debbie has been with Albany Eye Care for 13 years. She provides expertise in frame consulting, lens options and assists fabricating lenses. Debbie has 22 years photography experience. This knowledge assists in the matching frame to face shapes and color matching of lenses. Debbie also is certified to performing visual field testing.

Amanda - Doctor's Assistant
Amanda has been with Albany Eye care since 2006. She performs preliminary and specialized diagnostic testing. Amanda assists our Optometrists with contact lens prescribing and ordering. Amanda has completed Cooper Vision’s courses: Intermediate Contact Lens Principals, Advanced Contact Lens Studies and Multi-focal Technology. She is certified to perform Corneal Topography. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and attending church.

Camille- Patient Care Coordinator
Cami joined our staff in the summer of 2007. Cami makes appointments, confirms insurance eligibility and other patient administrative duties. She also assists with Insurance filing and billing.
